My 3's

I was tagged a while back and I do love a good tag so here it goes:

3 Joys
1. My kids
2. Spending time laughing with family and friends
3. Music

3 Fears
1. Death
2. Being overweight forever
3. Spiders (but obviously not as much as death)

3 Goals
1. LOSE WEIGHT!
2. Learn more about my family history
3. Stop raising my voice

3 Current Obsessions
1. Making these (I know, I know)
2. This (I think I've watched it 50 times)
3. Moving my kids into different bedrooms.

3 Random Surprises about me
1. I have fainted twice in my life both from seeing masks (weird, I know)
2. I love vacuuming and vacuum cleaners, my favorite aisle at Target is the vacuum aisle.
3. I don't love blogging on my own blog, but I love reading all of yours and reading comments so leave one please.
Thank you!

Sweet

I had to post this picture. Last week B went in to put baby to sleep and a few minutes later I went in and here's what I saw...

Bahston

This weekend B and I went to Boston with his parents. My parents stayed home with our four oldest and we brought C. It was so fun running around the city seeing all the historic and fun sights. And of course for me it's all about the food. We ate the best Clam Chowdah in the history of the world and found the yummiest bakery in "Little Italy."

B and C on the steps of Harvard Library

Granny and I with founder "John Harvard"

Street performers at Faneuil Hall

B and I in front of Paul Revere house

The State House on Beacon Street (a day after the Celtics won the NBA Championship)

I want to go back someday, it was really fun.

A learning experience

Last night I had my first flute recital. Last fall I decided to start taking flute lessons after not playing since Jr. High. I found a great teacher and have loved learning music again and doing something for me. Last night me, one other adult and five kids 15 and under, performed at our spring recital. I was so nervous and did not play perfectly but it was a fun experience. (Sorry no pictures of the recital, as usual I forgot my camera, I must not be a serious blogger yet.)

Ouch!

What you are witnessing is my extremely sun burned leg after 2 hours at the pool yesterday. I coated myself in sunblock but apparently missed this spot. Summer is officially here. Oowey!
